- Eligibility. Sellers must be 18+, based in Uganda, and provide accurate identity and contact information (name, phone, national ID on request).
- 2. Listings. Products must be lawful, accurately described, and photographed truthfully. Counterfeit, stolen, expired, or prohibited goods are banned and lead to immediate removal.
- 3. Commission. ShopKampala deducts a commission of 10% of each completed sale. Rates may change with 30 days’ notice.
- 4. Fulfilment. Sellers must confirm and dispatch orders within 24 hours on business days. Repeated failures may result in suspension.
- 5. Payouts. Earnings (sale price minus commission) are available for withdrawal once an order is completed. Minimum withdrawal: UGX 50,000. Payouts are made within 3 business days of request via mobile money or bank transfer.
- 6. Returns. Sellers must accept returns for items that are damaged, defective, or materially not as described, reported within 48 hours of delivery.
- 7. Conduct. Diverting payments off-platform is prohibited and grounds for removal.
- 8. Liability. Sellers are independent businesses. ShopKampala is a marketplace platform and is not the seller of record.
- 9. Termination. Either party may terminate at any time; pending orders and payouts will be honoured.
- 10. Law. These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda.
